This may be your first time designing a grinder or any one of our products. Printing on metal is different than other products you may have done in the past. Our staff is experienced and trained to look for possible issues with an image.
Every order which is being placed on our store, we review the graphics to make sure the printed product will look fantastic. If there is any problem with the graphic, we reach out. If it’s something minor and our design team can fix the it on their own, we usually take care of it. If you have special requirements please leave comment when ordering or send us an e-mail.

One of the first things we do is make sure the image is perfectly aligned in the center of the object. The design tool has features to help but in some cases we manually align the images so it is exactly centered in the middle of the product.

Removing Background Colors On Your Uploaded Images
When uploading in our design tool sometimes the tool can detect the background and remove it automatically. In the cases it does not completely remove the background our studio manually removes the background so only the logo or text prints.
Color Changes
Depending on the material chosen and the color selected the uploaded image may have its colors modified for better contrast. For example, we do not recommend printing dark text on a black grinder but we can add borders around the text or slightly modify the color to give it the optimal contrast.
Changing Your Uploaded Design
If you need to make changes to your uploaded design, we can help! When you’re ready to check out, simply leave us a note detailing the changes you’d like to see, and we’ll make the revisions when your order is placed. You’ll be able to review the finished layout when we send you the final design proofs for your approval.
Adjusting Print Size On Orders With Different Product Sizes
If you are ordering both small and large grinders, don’t worry! We always make sure that your print will fit on all of the grinders in your order, even if that means making two different print sizes for you! For questions regarding this process, feel free to contact a project specialist.
Color Contrast
We recommend darkening images so when printed the images may come out better. While printing on metal, some of the color loses intensity so we recommend going a little darker for the right contrast when printed.
Full Color Photographs
Full color, high detail, high resolution images print well on our zinc, matte, tin, and most aluminum products. Our state of the art UV injket printer can handle complicated images and can print in nearly 1 million colors.
Converting Images To One Color (B&W)
For customers that want to take advantage of our laser printing capabilities, we require the image to be in a single color. If you have such image, please use that. If you need help to convert a full color image to a single color send the image to hello@manufactureforyou.com
